The first one is a simple combination of Snow + Ice, and, well... He IS nice, just look at him. The second one is a mix of Glacier with the "saur", implying the dinnosaur like monster he is going to become ! The third one is an agressive form of snow, an Avalanche + Lunch, who else is hungry for battle ? I could go for some snow right now.

I personally REALLY like them being named by the stages of an eruption, because this coromon is LIT . =}
